Fadoua Bouafif

Fadoua Bouafif is an assistant professor of computer science at the Faculty of Economic and Management Sciences of Nabeul (FSEGN), Carthage University. She obtained her PhD in Electrical Engineering in 2010 from the National School of Engineers of Tunis and her master’s degree in computer science in 2001 from the Faculty of Sciences of Tunis, Tunis El Manar University.

She served as director of the Quantitative Method and Computer Science department at FSEGN from 2015 at 2020.
She has responsibility for both being the CEL administrator and administering the Microsoft Certiport Certification Center at FSEGN at Carthage University.

Her main research focuses on information retrieval, handwriting recognition, document processing. She is interested in the new trends of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its application in Industry 4.0.
