SHORT BIO

Oussama Ben Khiroun is a computer science engineer and a doctor (Ph. D.) in computer science from the National School of Computer Sciences (ENSI), University of Manouba, Tunisia. He is an assistant professor at the Faculty of Economics and Management of Nabeul (FSEGN), University of Carthage, Tunisia. His main researches focus on Information Retrieval (IR), Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Text Mining. He is interested in new trends of AI and its application in industry 4.0. He served as a high consulting member and an ICT expert in the national strategy and computer science syllabus reform of the Ministry of Education for two years (2020 & 2021). He was awarded with the Second Prize Award – IIOE Arabic Micro-course Competition 2022 (a UNESCO & ALECSO challenge).
